Our Achievements
The company initiated Event Planning/Management services and Offering Credit Facilities to our clients as a form of income generating activity and for sustainability.
Since 2021 the company has been able to construct 6 affordable houses to our clients, offered Ksh. 1,000,000 in credit to vulnerable members of the community; poor, widows and aged. The company has taken the advantage of numerous locally available natural resources; sand, bricks, ballast, cheap labour, river/rain water and cheap construction materials from Uganda. This has seen most of our staff construct permanent & semi permanent houses, 6 house for the community members/client.
The company is supplying food staff to 10 learning institution from previously 1 secondary school, this is due to our reliable and competitive prices for our services and products.
The company has applied for it’s 1st loan from Equity Bank, Malaba. We were offered Ksh. 300,000 in may 2022, the final instalment of Ksh. 27,000 is due on 25/05/2023. The company is already processing another 2nd loan of Ksh. 700,000 to purchase more tents, offer credit facility to our client at a profit, complete a class construction at a private academy/school and develop a website for the company!
The company has been able to purchase a land near Korisai Primary School to construct it’s headquarters/offices and other commercial
houses that can be used by the delocalized teachers in the nearby schools. The company uses mobile money transfer and bank transaction in the most of its income and expenses. We have M-PESA Till Number, which is a game changer as its doesn’t cost our clients transaction fees.
We also uses Facebook and Whatapp accounts to market our services.
The company through its sister organization called GESAO FOUNDATION INTERNATIONAL CBO is supporting 10 orphans and vulnerable children in secondary School and 20 in primary/Junior Secondary school.
The company has also been able to mobilize and sensitize the local community on alcohol, drug and substance abuse, reproductive health/hygiene/sanitation through collaboration with local health centers and NGOs. The company also uses sport, music and art as a form of community mobilization and sensitization to market our products and services.
The company has pre-qualified for tenders with Busia County Government for the financial year 2023/2024, we are awaiting for advisement of the tenders. We are also AGPO accredited company for the youth and women. George is 29 yrs old while Dorcas is 28 yrs old.
Please not that most of our service we offer on credit as we target the less fortunate members of the society.
Since it's inception in 2017, the company has grown from a family owned company to a community owned institution. The company started with Ksh. 50,000 from family savings as a seed/initial capital, currently the company boast of Ksh. 2,000,000 running capital with asset base of Ksh. 3,000,000 in terms of land and equipment; 2 motorbikes, 5, wheelbarrows, 10 big tents, 1000 plastic chairs, 20 tables and catering services kit for hire.
